I am sitting in my studio and ask myself:

Who am I?
I know it’s me!
I am Lydia!
Lydia van den Berg with a Dutch name.
I am Bulgarian.
I am an Australian citizen.
I live in Switzerland.

I am sitting and reading old News articles starting with...”ME”.

ME
That’s me! My life has changed in a positive way. I was born with a name but no title or trade. I have no secrets and nothing to hide.  I do not understand art! I spend my time painting and that is the only thing I can do. Now people say - I am an artist!

I wrote this on the 13 January 2008 when I was in Hervey Bay, Australia. I still think the same. Nothing has changed.

Reflecting myself I know, it is really me!
